BankDhofar and Modern Exchange sign MoU for e-commerce payment gateway

BankDhofar and Modern Exchange recently signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to provide a payment gateway for international remittance. The MoU was mutually signed by Abdul Hakeem Omar Al Ojaili, CEO of BankDhofar, and Mr Jamal Said Al Ojaili, Vice Chairman, Modern Exchange, at BankDhofar’s Head Office. The payment gateway solution will be exclusive for BankDhofar and Maisarah customers

On the initiative, Abdul Hakeem Al Ojaili said: “At BankDhofar we are always keen to provide our customers with state-of-the-art services and products through adopting the latest technologies to exceed their expectations. We are proud to partner with Modern Exchange to provide them with a payment gateway service which will enable our customers to transfer money instantly through Modern Exchange mobile app and online portal. The payment gateway offers easy, highly secured payment solutions 24/7.”

Speaking during the signing ceremony, Philip Koshy, General Manager Modern Exchange said: “Digital Platforms form a critical portion of our everyday life. Be it on social media, professional networking or search we are all online. With the customer in mind we have customized our website and online portal to offer a better customer experience. We are proud to sign with BankDhofar to provide instant remittance service to BankDhofar account holders. We are looking forward to extend the service to other banks account holders.”

Modern Exchange app will be the smarter way to send money with capability of remittances being sent on the go.
